5. Programming Instructions

To program your Mighty Mule Single Button Remote (FM135) to your gate opener, you will need to match the dip switch settings on the remote to those on your gate opener's control board or an existing programmed remote. Refer to your gate opener's main instruction manual for specific access to the control board and its dip switches.

Nota importante: The dip switch sequence on the remote must precisely match that of the gate opener or other transmitters for the remote to send the correct signal.

1. Open the remote's casing to access the internal dip switches.
2. Locate the dip switches on your Mighty Mule gate opener's control board or on an existing, working remote.
3. Carefully adjust the dip switches on your new FM135 remote to exactly match the ON/OFF positions of the dip switches on your gate opener's control board or existing remote.
4. Once the dip switches are matched, close the remote's casing.
5. Test the remote by pressing the button while within range of your gate opener.

For additional control options, Mighty Mule also offers 2-button (FM134) and 3-button (RB743) remotes. These can be programmed to operate multiple gate openers or even a garage door (requires Universal Receiver RB709U-NB for garage doors).
