3. Configuração

Before first use, install the battery and prepare your caliper for operation.

4.1 Outside Measurement

Use the large external jaws to measure the outer dimensions of an object.

  1. Open the external jaws wider than the object.
  2. Place the object between the external jaws.
  3. Close the jaws firmly against the object using the thumb roller.
  4. Read the measurement on the LCD display. For consistent readings, use the locking screw to secure the jaw before reading.

4.2 Inside Measurement

Use the small internal jaws to measure the inner dimensions of an object, such as a hole or groove.

  1. Insert the internal jaws into the opening.
  2. Open the jaws until they firmly contact the inner surfaces.

Use the depth measuring blade to determine the depth of a hole or step.

  1. Place the end of the beam firmly on the top surface of the object.

Use the step measuring face to measure the height of a step or shoulder.

  1. Place the step measuring face on the upper surface of the step.
