2. Instruções de segurança

4. Configuração

4.1. Instalação da bateria

1. Localize a tampa do compartimento da bateria na parte traseira do dispositivo.
2. Deslize a tampa para baixo para abrir o compartimento.
3. Insert a 9V battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Recoloque a tampa do compartimento da bateria deslizando-a de volta para o lugar até ouvir um clique.

4.2. Connecting the Thermocouple

Connect a Type K thermocouple probe to the input jack located at the top of the device. Ensure the probe is securely inserted.

5. Instruções de operação

5.1. Ligar / desligar

• To turn on the thermometer, press the Power (O) botão.
• To turn off the thermometer, press and hold the Power (O) botão por aproximadamente 2 segundos.

5.2. Basic Temperature Measurement

1. Ensure a Type K thermocouple is connected.
2. Ligue o dispositivo.
3. Place the thermocouple probe at the point where temperature measurement is required.
4. The current temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen. Allow a few seconds for the reading to stabilize.

5.3. Changing Temperature Units (°C/°F)

Pressione o ° C / ° F button to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.

5.4. MAX/MIN Function

Esta função permite que você view the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded since the device was powered on or the function was reset.

• Pressione o MÁX. MÍN. button once to display the maximum temperature recorded. The 'MAX' indicator will appear on the screen.
• Pressione o MÁX. MÍN. button again to display the minimum temperature recorded. The 'MIN' indicator will appear.
• Pressione o MÁX. MÍN. button a third time to return to the current temperature display.
• To reset the MAX/MIN values, press and hold the MÁX. MÍN. button for approximately 2 seconds while in MAX or MIN mode.

5.5. Função HOLD

The HOLD function freezes the current temperature reading on the display.

• Pressione o SEGURAR button to freeze the current reading. The 'HOLD' indicator will appear on the screen.

5.6. Relative Measurement (ΔREL)

This function allows you to measure temperature differences relative to a reference point.

• With the thermometer displaying a stable temperature, press the ΔREL button. The current reading will be stored as the reference value, and the display will show '0.0' with the 'ΔREL' indicator.
• Subsequent measurements will display the difference between the current temperature and the stored reference value.
• Pressione o ΔREL button again to exit relative measurement mode and return to normal temperature display.

6. Manutenção

6.1. Limpeza

Limpe o dispositivo casing com um suave, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquid enters the device.

6.2. Substituição da bateria

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the 9V battery as described in Section 4.1. Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

6.3. Armazenamento

Store the thermometer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Protect it from dust and moisture.
