Many materials, such as latex paints, may need to be thinned to achieve optimal spray consistency. Use the included viscosity cup to measure the material's thickness. Fill the cup with the material and time how long it takes for the liquid to drain completely. Refer to the material manufacturer's recommendations for thinning ratios. Add water or appropriate thinner gradually and mix thoroughly until the desired viscosity is reached.

Operating Your Sprayer

The Finish Max offers three adjustable spray patterns: horizontal, vertical, and round. To change the pattern, rotate the air cap on the front of the sprayer. The horizontal pattern is ideal for wider surfaces, the vertical for taller objects, and the round pattern is best for small, intricate areas or edges.

Adjusting Material Output

The flow control knob, located near the trigger, allows you to increase or decrease the material output. Turn the knob clockwise to reduce flow and counter-clockwise to increase flow. Adjust this setting to match the material's viscosity and your desired coverage.

Proper cleaning after each use is crucial for maintaining the sprayer's performance and longevity.
