3.3 Preparação do Combustível e do Óleo da Corrente

The CS-271T operates on a gasoline/oil mixture and requires chain lubricant. Use fresh, high-quality unleaded gasoline mixed with a premium 2-stroke engine oil at the ratio specified by Echo (typically 50:1). Fill the fuel tank with the mixed fuel and the oil tank with high-quality bar and chain oil.

  • Mistura de combustível: 50:1 (Gasolina:Óleo para motores de 2 tempos)
  • Óleo de Corrente: High-quality bar and chain lubricant.

CUIDADO: Never use straight gasoline or automotive oil in the fuel mixture. This will cause severe engine damage.

3.4 Ajuste da tensão da corrente

Proper chain tension is crucial for safe and efficient operation. The chain should be snug against the bottom of the guide bar, but still able to be pulled around by hand. Adjust tension using the tensioning screw, then fully tighten the chain cover nuts.
