  • Ventilação: Operate the pump only in well-ventilated areas. Exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide, which is a colorless, odorless, and deadly gas.
  • Manuseio de combustível: Gasoline is highly flammable. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Avoid spilling fuel. Do not smoke or use open flames near the pump or fuel.
  • Superfícies Quentes: The engine and exhaust system become very hot during operation and remain hot for some time after shutdown. Avoid contact to prevent burns.
  • Superfície estável: Always place the pump on a firm, level surface to prevent tipping during operation.
  • Somente água: This pump is designed for water transfer. Do not pump flammable liquids, corrosive chemicals, or other hazardous materials.
  • Equipamento de Proteção Individual: Wear appropriate safety gear, such as gloves and eye protection, when handling fuel or operating the pump.

5. Configuração

5.1. Desembalagem e colocação

  2. Place the pump on a stable, level, and well-ventilated surface, away from flammable materials.

5.2. Mangueiras de conexão

  1. Attach the suction filter to the end of the suction hose. Ensure the filter is fully submerged in the water source during operation.
  2. Connect the suction hose to the pump's 1-inch suction port. Secure it tightly with a hose clamp to prevent air leaks. Air leaks in the suction line will prevent the pump from priming.
  3. Connect the discharge hose to the pump's 1-inch discharge port. Secure it with a hose clamp.

5.3. Fueling the Engine

The EBERTH GW2-ERWP10 uses a 2-stroke engine, requiring a specific gasoline-oil mixture.

  1. Prepare a fuel mixture of unleaded gasoline and 2-stroke engine oil at a ratio specified by the engine oil manufacturer (typically 25:1 or 50:1). Use the provided mixing bottle for accuracy.
  3. Desaperte a tampa do tanque de combustível.
  4. Carefully pour the mixed fuel into the fuel tank (0.7-liter capacity), avoiding overfilling.
  5. Recoloque a tampa do tanque de combustível firmemente.

5.4. Preparando a bomba

The pump must be primed with water before starting the engine to ensure proper operation and prevent damage.

  1. Locate the priming port cap on top of the pump housing.
  2. Unscrew the priming port cap.
  3. Slowly fill the pump housing with clean water until it overflows.
  4. Securely replace the priming port cap.

6. Instruções de operação

6.1. Ligando o motor

  1. Ensure the pump is primed and all hose connections are secure.
  2. Move the choke lever to the "CLOSED" or "START" position (for cold starts). For a warm engine, the choke may not be necessary.
  3. Set the throttle lever to a mid-range position.
  4. Grasp the pull starter handle firmly and pull it slowly until resistance is felt, then pull quickly and smoothly. Repeat until the engine starts.

6.2. Ajustando a vazão

The water flow rate can be continuously adjusted using the throttle lever.

  1. Move the throttle lever towards "FAST" for higher engine RPM and maximum flow.
  2. Move the throttle lever towards "SLOW" for lower engine RPM and reduced flow.

    • Drain all water from the pump housing by removing the drain plug.
    • Clean the suction filter to remove any debris.
    • Wipe down the exterior of the pump.
  • Armazenamento de combustível: If storing the pump for an extended period (more than 30 days), drain the fuel tank and carburetor to prevent fuel degradation and starting issues.
  • Vela de ignição: Inspect and clean the spark plug periodically. Replace if worn or fouled. Use the provided spark plug wrench.
  • Filtro de ar: Clean the air filter regularly, especially in dusty conditions. A dirty air filter can reduce engine performance and increase fuel consumption.
