5. Guia de configuração

5.1 Conectando a um dispositivo

1. Para dispositivos iOS (iPhone/iPad): Use the provided Lightning cable. Connect the micro-USB end to the iRig Mic HD 2 and the Lightning end to your iOS device.

6. Instruções de operação

6.1 Ligando

The iRig Mic HD 2 is bus-powered, meaning it draws power directly from the connected device (iPhone, iPad, Mac, or PC). Simply connect the microphone, and it will power on automatically.

6.2 Adjusting Input Gain

• Locate the gain control knob on the microphone body.
• Rotate the knob to adjust the input sensitivity.
• Observe the multi-color LED indicator:
  • Azul: Signal present, good level.
  • Verde: Optimal signal level.
  • Vermelho: Signal too hot (clipping). Reduce gain immediately to avoid distortion.
• Aim for a strong signal that primarily stays in the green, with occasional peaks into blue, and never red.

6.3 Monitoramento de áudio

• Connect your headphones to the 3.5mm headphone output jack at the base of the microphone.
• Use the dedicated headphone volume control knob to adjust your monitoring level.
• This allows for real-time, direct monitoring of your audio without latency.
