1. Introdução

The Haverland CASAP is a versatile mobile appliance designed to provide both cooling and heating functions for your indoor environment. Utilizing an evaporative cooling system, it offers an energy-efficient alternative to traditional air conditioning, while its heating element ensures comfort during colder periods. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your CASAP unit.

For optimal cooling efficiency, it is recommended to use the air cooler with open windows and doors to prevent moisture accumulation and enhance the evaporative effect.

2. Instruções de segurança

Please read all safety instructions carefully before operating the appliance and retain this manual for future reference.

  • Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before filling or emptying the water tank, cleaning, or performing any maintenance.

  • Place the unit on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping and water spills.

  • Keep children and pets away from the appliance during operation. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

4. Configuração

  1. Desembalagem: Retire cuidadosamente a unidade da embalagem. Guarde todos os materiais da embalagem para armazenamento ou transporte futuros.
  2. Colocação: Position the CASAP unit on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper air circulation (at least 20 cm from walls or furniture). The unit is equipped with 360° rotating roller wheels for easy movement.
  3. Abastecendo o reservatório de água (para resfriamento/umidificação):
    • Pull out the water tank from the bottom front of the unit (refer to Figure 3.5).
    • Encha o reservatório com água limpa da torneira até o indicador de nível 'MAX'. Não encha em excesso.
    • For enhanced cooling, you may add ice packs (not included) to the water tank.
    • Deslize cuidadosamente o reservatório de água de volta para dentro da unidade até que ele se encaixe no lugar.
  4. Conexão de energia: Insert the power plug into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V, 50Hz).

5. Instruções de operação

The Haverland CASAP can be operated using the touch control panel on the unit or the provided remote control.

5.1 Control Panel and Remote Control Functions

  • Ligar/desligar: Pressione o LIGADO/DESLIGADO botão para ligar ou desligar a unidade.
  • Seleção de modo: Pressione o MODO button to cycle through operating modes: Normal, Natural, and Night.
  • Ajuste de velocidade: Pressione o VELOCIDADE button to select between 3 fan speeds: Low (Lo), Mid, and High (Hi).
  • Função de resfriamento: Pressione o Legal button to activate the evaporative cooling function. Ensure the water tank is filled.
  • Função de aquecimento: Pressione o Aquecedor button to activate the heating function (1500W).
  • Oscilação: Pressione o OSC button to activate or deactivate the vertical and horizontal oscillation of the air louvers, distributing air more widely.
  • Temporizador: Pressione o CRONÔMETRO button to set the operating time (e.g., 1H, 2H, 4H, 8H). The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.
  • Anti-Mosquito Function: Pressione o Anti-Mosquito button to activate the UV light function designed to repel insects.

5.2 Uso do controle remoto

The remote control allows you to operate all functions of the CASAP unit from a distance. Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote control and the unit's receiver. The remote control requires batteries (included).

6. Manutenção

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Haverland CASAP unit.

6.1 Limpando o Filtro de Ar

The air filter should be cleaned regularly, especially if the unit is used frequently.

  1. Desligue e desconecte: Sempre desligue o aparelho e desconecte-o da tomada antes de limpá-lo.
  2. Remover filtro: The air filter is located at the rear of the unit (refer to Figure 3.2). Gently pull it out.
  3. Filtro limpo: Enxágue o filtro em água corrente para remover poeira e detritos. Para sujeira mais resistente, use uma escova macia e detergente neutro.
  4. Filtro seco: Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat.
  5. Reinstalar filtro: Slide the dry filter back into its slot until it is securely in place.

6.2 Limpando o Tanque de Água

Para evitar o crescimento de mofo e bolor, limpe o reservatório de água regularmente.

  1. Desligue e desconecte: Desligue e desconecte a unidade.
  2. Remover o tanque: Pull out the water tank from the unit.
  3. Empty and Clean: Empty any remaining water. Clean the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent residue.
  4. Secar e reinstalar: Deixe o tanque secar completamente ao ar livre antes de reinseri-lo.

6.3 Limpeza Externa

6.4 Armazenamento

If the unit will not be used for an extended period, empty and clean the water tank and filter. Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
