4. Configuração
4.1. Instalação da bateria
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device (refer to Figure 2).
- Insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). The device requires batteries for operation.
- Feche bem a tampa do compartimento da bateria.
The device features a low battery indicator on the display. Replace batteries promptly when this indicator appears to ensure accurate readings.
5. Instruções de operação
5.1. Operação geral
- Press the power button (if available, otherwise the SELECT button usually powers it on) to turn on the device.
- Pressione o SELECIONAR button to cycle through the detection modes: Metal, Wood, and AC Cable. The selected mode will be indicated on the display.
- Place the detector flat against the surface you wish to scan. Ensure the sensor area is in full contact.
- Slowly slide the detector across the surface. The display will show signal strength and indicate when an object is detected.
5.2. Metal Detection
In Metal detection mode, the RB-0003 can detect metal parts in walls up to a depth of 30 mm.
- Select the Metal detection mode.
- Move the device slowly across the surface. The display will show increasing bars as it approaches a metal object.
- A distinct audio alert or visual indicator will confirm the presence of metal.
5.3. Wood Detection
The device can detect wooden profiles with a maximum dimension of 30 x 30 mm at a depth of 18 mm.
- Switch to Wood detection mode.
- Scan the wall slowly. The detector will indicate the edges and center of wooden studs or beams.
- Mark the detected areas for reference.
5.4. AC Cable Detection
The RB-0003 is capable of detecting live AC 90-250V cables.
- Select the AC Cable detection mode.
- Move the detector slowly over the area. The device will emit a warning and display an icon when live AC voltage é detectado.
- Cuidado: Always assume wires are live until confirmed otherwise by a qualified electrician.
6. Manutenção
- Limpeza: Limpe o dispositivo com um pano macio e seco. Não utilize produtos de limpeza abrasivos ou solventes.
- Armazenar: Store the detector in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.
- Substituição da bateria: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Use only the specified battery type.
