3. Configuração e instalação

3.1. Instalação Física

1. Montagem: The Z-N976 is designed to fit standard 2-DIN slots. Use the provided mounting frame to secure the unit in the vehicle's dashboard.
2. Conexões de energia e alto-falantes: Connect the main 16-pin, 24-pin, and 20-pin connection cables to the corresponding ports on the unit and the vehicle's wiring harness. Ensure correct polarity for all power and speaker connections.
3. Conexões de antena: Connect the GPS antenna and Bluetooth antenna to their respective ports on the rear of the unit. Position the antennas in a location that provides clear signal reception, away from metal obstructions.
4. USB and HDMI Connections: Route the two USB cables and the HDMI cable to easily accessible locations within the vehicle, such as the glove compartment or center console.

The 9-inch capacitive touchscreen is the primary interface for controlling the Z-N976. Navigate through menus, select functions, and input data by touching the screen. The interface is designed to display up to three sources simultaneously for quick information access.

4.2. Radio Functions (DAB+/FM)

• Sintonizador DAB+: Select the DAB+ source to access digital radio stations. The dual DAB+ tuner ensures stable reception. Scan for available stations and save your favorites.
• Rádio FM: Switch to FM mode for analog radio. Use the auto-scan function to find stations or manually tune to a specific frequency.

4.3. Media Playback (USB, iPod/iPhone)

4.5. Smartphone Integration (Android Auto & Apple CarPlay)

The Z-N976 supports wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. Connect your compatible smartphone via Wi-Fi to access navigation, communication, and entertainment apps directly on the unit's screen.

4.6. Configurações de áudio

Access the audio settings menu to fine-tune your sound experience:

• 5-Channel Runtime Correction: Adjust the delay for each speaker to ensure optimal sound stagindo.
• Equalizador gráfico de 10 bandas: Customize the audio frequency response to match your preferences or vehicle acoustics.
• High-Pass and Low-Pass Filters: Set crossover frequencies for speakers and subwoofers to optimize sound reproduction and protect speakers.

4.7. Navigation (Optional)

The Z-N976 can be extended with dedicated navigation packages:

• Z-EMAP76PC-NNG3 (Car Version): Provides navigation for cars with maps of over 40 EU countries and an extensive Point of Interest (POI) database.
• Z-EMAP76MH-TT3 (Motorhome Version): Tailored for motorhomes, this package includes a Camping POI database, FREEONTOUR/Send-To-Car function, and allows for vehicle profile selection and input of vehicle-specific data (e.g., dimensions, weight) for optimized routing.

These navigation packages are sold separately.
