4. Configuração
4.1 Instalação da bateria
- Ensure the spreader is turned off.
- Align a compatible Dewalt 20V/60V Li-ion battery with the battery slot on the underside of the spreader.
- Deslize a bateria para dentro do compartimento até ouvir um clique, indicando que ela está firmemente encaixada.

4.2 Enchimento do reservatório
- Ensure the spreader is turned off and the battery is removed.
- Abra a tampa da caçamba.
- Carefully pour the desired granular material (seeds, fertilizer, salt, etc.) into the 3-liter hopper. Do not overfill.
- Close the hopper lid securely to prevent spillage during operation.
5. Instruções de operação
5.1 Adjusting Spreading Settings
- Spreading Quantity Setting: Use the dial on the top of the handle to select one of the 8 available settings. This controls the opening size for material flow, allowing for precise volume control based on material type and desired application rate.
- Spreading Speed Controller: Use the switch on the side of the unit to adjust the speed of the spreading mechanism. There are 6 speed settings to control how far the material is thrown.
- Spreading Angle Controller (EdgeGuard): The spreader features an adjustable edge guard. Use the lever on the side to adjust the spreading angle, preventing material from being thrown into unwanted areas like pathways or flowerbeds. The maximum spreading angle is 125°.
5.2 Operação
- Once the battery is installed and the hopper is filled, select your desired spreading quantity and speed settings.
- Hold the spreader comfortably by the handle.
- Press the On/Off switch (trigger) to start the spreading mechanism.
- Walk at a consistent pace across the area you wish to treat, ensuring even coverage.
- Release the On/Off switch to stop spreading.
