• Power (RED wire): Connect to a fused +12V constant power source from the vehicle's battery.
• Ground (BLACK wire): Connect to a clean, solid chassis ground point in the vehicle. Ensure good metal-to-metal contact.

2. Turn on your head unit. The REQ7 should power on automatically via the remote wire.
3. Start with all EQ bands at their center (flat) position, master volume low, and subwoofer level low.
