To enter pairing mode, hold the ON/OFF switch in the uppermost position for about 3 seconds. Wait for the LED ring to flash red and white, and listen for the device to announce it is ready to pair.
Press the TALK button (the round button on top) when not on a call. The Jambox will announce the remaining battery life. The LED ring will also flash red when the battery is low.
A flashing white LED indicates that the Jambox is trying to connect to your phone or Bluetooth device. If it flashes red and white, it is in pairing mode.
Historically, the Jambox was updated via the MyTalk website using a USB connection. Since Jawbone services have been discontinued, the online updater may no longer function. Basic troubleshooting involves turning the device off and on or ensuring it is fully charged via the micro-USB port.
