Segurança Técnica BC (TSBC) is an independent, self-funded organization mandated to oversee the safe installation and operation of technical systems and equipment throughout British Columbia, Canada. Formerly known as the BC Safety Authority, TSBC administers safety standards and regulations for a wide range of technologies, including electrical, gas, boiler, pressure vessel, refrigeration, elevating, amusement, and passenger ropeway systems.
TSBC issues permits, licences, and certificates to qualified contractors and individuals, ensuring that work is performed by certified professionals.
