To pair, turn on the speaker and hold the Bluetooth button (usually above the power button) until you hear a tone and the light blinks rapidly. Then, select the speaker from the Bluetooth menu on your mobile device.
For many models like the BLAST or MEGABLAST, press the volume down (-), volume up (+), and the small Bluetooth action buttons simultaneously. Then press the power button to turn it back on. For MEGABOOM, hold the volume down and power buttons simultaneously for about 10-15 seconds until you hear a tone.
Ensure the micro-USB or USB-C port is clean and dry. If the LED doesn't pulse, try connecting and disconnecting the cable multiple times to clear oxidation, or try a different cable and power adapter. If the port is wet, do not charge until fully dry.
Download the Ultimate Ears app (BOOM & MEGABOOM app) from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Connect your speaker to your smartphone, open the app, tap 'More', and select the update prompt if available.
