- Encha o tanque de água: Open the lid of the water tank and fill it with the desired amount of cold, fresh water. The translucent tank allows for easy viewing of the water level. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (5 cups / 0.7 liters).
- Inserir filtro: Place a Melitta cone filter (size 1x2 or similar) into the filter holder.

Descalcificação
Mineral deposits from water can build up over time, affecting performance and coffee taste. Descale your coffee maker regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 1-3 months).
- Preparar a solução descalcificante: Use a commercial coffee maker descaling solution or a mixture of white vinegar and water (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water). Follow the descaling product's instructions for concentration.
- Executar ciclo de descalcificação: Pour the descaling solution into the water tank. Place the empty pot on the base. Run a brewing cycle as if making coffee, but without coffee grounds.

- Clean Pot: Wash the insulated pot and lid thoroughly after descaling.
