3.1. SC-001 Control Panel

The central unit of the alarm system, featuring a keypad for arming/disarming, status indicators (AC Power, Low Battery, Arm), and mode selection (Chime, Delay, Instant). It communicates wirelessly with all sensors.

3.2. WT-433 Door/Window Sensors

These two-piece sensors are designed to detect the opening of doors or windows. When the magnetic contact is broken, a signal is sent to the control panel, triggering the alarm if the system is armed.

3.3. PS-434A Motion Sensor

A passive infrared (PIR) sensor that detects movement within its detection zone. Ideal for protecting larger areas, it triggers the alarm upon detecting unauthorized motion when the system is armed.

3.4. 4B-434 Keychain Transmitter

The SC-1000 system is designed for easy do-it-yourself installation. Follow these steps carefully to set up your alarm system.

1. Control Panel (SC-001): Insert the 9-volt alkaline battery into the battery compartment. Connect the AC adapter to the control panel and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The "AC.PWR" indicator should illuminate.
2. Emergency Dialer (AD-433S): Insert the 9-volt alkaline battery. Connect the AC adapter and plug it into a standard wall outlet. Connect the provided phone line from the dialer to your telephone wall jack.
3. Sensors (WT-433, PS-434A): Insert the appropriate batteries (12-volt alkaline) into each sensor as per their individual instructions.

4.2. Sensor Pairing and Placement

Each sensor must be wirelessly linked to the control panel. Refer to the specific instructions for each sensor type for detailed pairing procedures. Once paired, strategically place your sensors:

• Para armar: Enter your personal security code on the SC-001 control panel keypad or press the arm button on the keychain transmitter. The "ARM" indicator will illuminate.
• Para desarmar: Enter your personal security code on the SC-001 control panel keypad or press the disarm button on the keychain transmitter. The "ARM" indicator will turn off.

5.2. System Modes

The SC-001 control panel offers different modes to suit your security needs:

• Modo Carrilhão: When enabled, sensors will produce a chime sound when triggered, without activating the full alarm. Useful for knowing when a door or window is opened.
• Modo instantâneo: Any triggered sensor will immediately activate the alarm siren.

5.3. Emergency Call Process

If any armed sensor is triggered, the following sequence occurs:

1. The 110dB siren will sound loudly.
2. The triggered sensor sends a wireless signal to the Emergency Dialer (AD-433S).
3. The AD-433S automatically dials the pre-programmed phone numbers in sequence.
4. Upon connection, your pre-recorded 40-second emergency message is played to the recipient.

• Control Panel & Dialer: The system runs on AC power with 9-volt alkaline battery backup. A "LO BATT" indicator on the control panel and dialer will illuminate when the battery needs replacement. Replace the 9V battery promptly to maintain backup power during outage.
• Sensores: Door/Window sensors and Motion sensors use 12-volt alkaline batteries. Replace them when their respective low battery indicators activate or when performance degrades.
• Keychain Transmitter: Replace the battery when the transmission range decreases or the indicator light fails to illuminate.

• Keep all components clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
• Avoid exposing components to extreme temperatures, high humidity, or direct water contact.
• Test your system periodically (e.g., monthly) to ensure all sensors are functioning correctly and the dialer can successfully make calls. Inform your programmed contacts before conducting a test.

7.4. Loud Beep on Arm/Disarm

The system is designed to emit a loud beep for confirmation. This is a normal operational characteristic. There is no setting to reduce this volume directly on the main unit.
