3. Instruções de operação

The Fluke 179 Multimeter offers a variety of measurement functions. Always select the correct function and range before making a measurement to ensure accuracy and safety.

3.1. Medidas básicas

  • Volumetage (AC/DC): Turn the rotary switch to V~ (AC) or V- (DC). Connect the test leads in parallel with the circuit or component to be measured.
  • Corrente (CA/CC): Turn the rotary switch to A~ (AC) or A- (DC) or mA/µA. Connect the test leads in series with the circuit. Ensure the correct input jack is used for the expected current level.
  • Resistência (Ω): Turn the rotary switch to Ω. Connect the test leads across the component. Ensure the circuit is de-energized before measuring resistance.
  • Continuidade: Turn the rotary switch to the continuity symbol (speaker icon). The meter will beep if a continuous path is detected.
  • Teste de Diodo: Turn the rotary switch to the diode symbol. Connect the test leads across the diode to check its forward voltage gota.

3.2. Recursos avançados

  • Manual and Automatic Ranging: The multimeter can automatically select the appropriate measurement range. For specific applications, manual ranging can be selected.
  • Retenção de exibição: Pressione o botão HOLD para congelar a leitura atual no visor.
  • Retenção automática: Automatically holds stable readings on the display.
  • Min/Max-Average Recording: Capture minimum, maximum, and average readings over a period, useful for monitoring fluctuating signals.
  • Frequency (Hz) and Capacitance (F) Measurements: Select the appropriate function on the rotary switch to measure frequency or capacitance.
  • Medição de temperatura: Connect the Fluke 80BK-A Integrated Temperature Probe to the multimeter and select the temperature function to measure temperature.
