2. Configuração
2.1. Instalação da bateria
The thermometer requires one LR44 battery (included). To install or replace the battery:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the thermometer's head.

- To turn the thermometer on, press the LIGADO/DESLIGADO botão.

- The thermometer features an automatic shut-off function, which will turn off the device after approximately 45 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.

- Carefully insert the stainless steel probe into the substance you wish to measure. Ensure the probe is inserted at least 2 cm (approximately 0.8 inches) into the medium for accurate readings.
- Wait a few seconds for the temperature reading on the digital display to stabilize. The thermometer has a fast response time, typically under 1 second for updates.
- Read the temperature displayed in degrees Celsius ( C).

3.3. Temperature Range and Accuracy
The thermometer measures temperatures within the range of -50 C to +300 C (-58 F to +572 F).
Accuracy specifications:
