5. Configuração e instalação

The Buderus Logafix BD-1 thermostatic head is designed for easy installation on compatible radiator valves. Ensure the valve body is clean and free from debris before attachment.

1. Ensure the heating system is turned off and the radiator is cool.
2. If replacing an old thermostatic head, carefully unscrew and remove it.
3. Align the Buderus Logafix BD-1 thermostatic head with the valve body. The head typically connects via a flange connection or a screw-on mechanism.
4. Gently push the head onto the valve and secure it by tightening the connection nut or ring until it is firm. Do not overtighten.
5. Once installed, you can turn the heating system back on.

The thermostatic head allows you to set the desired room temperature by rotating the dial.

• Escala de temperatura: The dial features a scale typically ranging from a snowflake symbol (frost protection, approx. 6 °C) to numbers indicating higher temperatures, up to 28 °C.

• Proteção contra geada: Set the dial to the snowflake symbol (*) to activate frost protection, which maintains a minimum temperature (around 6 °C) to prevent pipes from freezing.

• Uso ideal: For optimal energy efficiency, avoid setting the thermostat to maximum unless necessary. Adjust the setting based on your comfort level and external temperature.

7. Manutenção

The Buderus Logafix BD-1 Thermostatic Head requires minimal maintenance.
