Figure 2: Watch Bezel Detail. This image highlights the rotating bezel and the connection point of the watch strap to the case.
The Casio AMW320R-1EV features a bi-directional rotating bezel. This bezel can be rotated clockwise or counter-clockwise to mark elapsed time or a specific point in time.
- To measure elapsed time, rotate the bezel so that the '0' mark (or triangle) aligns with the minute hand at the start of an event.
- Read the elapsed time by noting the position of the minute hand against the bezel's markings.
Observação: Due to its bi-directional nature, this bezel is not suitable for critical dive timing where accidental movement could lead to safety risks. Always use dedicated dive computers or uni-directional bezels for professional diving.
4.3. Resistência à água
This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This rating means it is suitable for recreational swimming, snorkeling, and showering. It is não suitable for scuba diving, high-impact water sports, or prolonged submersion at depths beyond its rating.
- Do not operate the crown or buttons while the watch is wet or submerged.
- Certifique-se de que a coroa esteja totalmente encaixada antes de qualquer exposição à água.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes (e.g., hot showers followed by cold water), as this can compromise seals.
5. Cuidados e Manutenção
5.1. Limpando seu relógio
- Limpe regularmente a caixa e a pulseira do relógio com um pano macio e seco para remover a sujeira e a umidade.
- For stubborn dirt, especially on the resin band, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry completely.
- Evite usar produtos químicos agressivos, solventes ou produtos de limpeza abrasivos, pois estes podem danificar o acabamento ou as vedações do relógio.
5.2. Substituição da bateria
When the watch battery runs low, the digital display may dim or the watch may stop functioning. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance. Attempting to replace the battery yourself may void the warranty and compromise the watch's water resistance.
5.3. Water Resistance Checks
It is recommended to have the watch's water resistance seals checked periodically, especially if the watch has been opened for battery replacement or repair, or if it experiences frequent exposure to water. This helps ensure the watch maintains its specified water resistance rating.
