1. Introdução

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient use of your Bixolon SRP-350IIICOSG Thermal Receipt Printer. 4. Configuração

4.1 Desembalagem e Colocação

Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Place the printer on a flat, stable surface near your computer or POS system.

4.2 Conectando a fonte de alimentação

2. Plug the power supply connector into the power port on the back of the printer.

4.3 Connecting Data Cables

• Conexão USB: Connect one end of a USB cable (Type B) to the USB port on the printer and the other end to an available USB port on your computer or POS system.
• Conexão serial: Connect one end of a serial cable (DB9) to the serial port on the printer and the other end to an available serial port on your computer or POS system.

4.4 Carregando o rolo de papel

1. Open the printer cover by pushing the cover open lever.
2. Insert the new paper roll into the paper compartment with the paper feeding from the bottom.
3. Puxe uma pequena quantidade de papel para fora da lâmina de corte.

4.5 Instalação do driver

Before using the printer, you must install the appropriate drivers on your computer or POS system. Drivers are typically available on the Bixolon official website. Follow the instructions provided with the driver package for installation.

5. Operando a impressora

5.1 Ligar/Desligar

To power on the printer, press the power switch located on the side or back of the printer to the 'ON' position. To power off, press the switch to the 'OFF' position.

5.2 Indicadores de Status

The printer features LED indicators to show its current status:

6. Manutenção

6.1 Limpeza da cabeça de impressão

Regular cleaning of the print head ensures optimal print quality and extends printer life. Clean the print head using an alcohol swab or a specialized print head cleaning pen.

3. Gently wipe the thermal elements of the print head with the cleaning tool.

When the paper roll is depleted, the paper out LED will illuminate. Follow the steps in Section 4.4 to replace the paper roll.

If the auto cutter experiences frequent jams or malfunctions, it may require cleaning. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove paper dust and debris from the cutter mechanism.
