5.1. Carregando a bateria

Before initial use, fully charge the integrated 7.4V 3000 mAh battery.

  1. Connect the 220V charging adapter to the DC input port on the side of the device.

  3. The "CHARGE" indicator light on the front panel will illuminate.
  4. Allow the device to charge until the "CHARGE" indicator light changes color or turns off, indicating a full charge.

6.1. Satellite Dish Alignment

The primary function of the WS-6916 is to assist in aligning your satellite dish for optimal signal reception.

  1. Connect the LNB: Connect the LNB cable from your satellite dish to the F-connector input on the WS-6916 (refer to Figure 4.3).
  2. Selecione o satélite: From the main menu, navigate to "Satellite Find" or "Satellite Installation" and select the desired satellite you wish to receive (e.g., Astra 19.2E, Hotbird 13E).
  3. Input Coordinates (Optional): If using the angle calculation feature, input your geographical coordinates to determine the optimal elevation and azimuth for your LNB.
  4. Adjust Dish Position: Slowly adjust the azimuth (horizontal angle) and elevation (vertical angle) of your satellite dish. Observe the signal strength and quality indicators on the WS-6916 display.
  5. Otimizar sinal: Continue fine-tuning the dish position until the signal strength and quality readings are maximized. The acoustic signal will also indicate stronger reception.
  6. Sinal de bloqueio: Once the signal is optimized, tighten your dish mounting bolts. The "LOCK" indicator light on the device will illuminate when a stable signal is acquired.
