• Equipamento de Proteção Individual (EPI): Always wear appropriate PPE, including eye protection (safety glasses or goggles), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), heavy-duty gloves, long pants, and sturdy, non-slip footwear.
• Manuseio de combustível: Gasoline is highly flammable. Refuel in a well-ventilated outdoor area. Do not smoke or allow open flames near the fuel. Store gasoline in approved containers away from ignition sources.
• Área de trabalho: Clear the work area of debris, rocks, and other objects that could be thrown by the cutting attachment. Keep bystanders, children, and pets at a safe distance (at least 15 meters/50 feet).
• Operação: Maintain a firm grip on the handles. Be aware of kickback, especially when using the brush cutter blade. Do not operate the tool when fatigued or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

4. Configuração e montagem

4.1 Montagem

1. Conecte as seções do eixo: The 150 cm shaft is divided for transport. Securely connect the two shaft sections according to the instructions provided in the packaging.
2. Fixar o guidão: Mount the adjustable bicycle-style handlebar to the shaft at a comfortable working height. Ensure all fasteners are tightened securely.

4.2 Abastecimento

The Scheppach BCH3200PB4/1PS features a 4-stroke engine, which operates on pure gasoline. Do NOT mix oil with the gasoline.

• Carefully open the fuel cap and fill the 0.7-liter tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline.
• Do not overfill. Leave a small air gap to allow for fuel expansion.

5.1 Ligando o motor

3. Set the throttle to the starting position.
4. Pull the starter cord firmly until the engine starts. The 4-stroke engine design helps minimize cold start problems.
5. Once started, gradually disengage the choke and allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before beginning work.

5.2 Using the Tool

• Aparar grama: For cutting grass and light weeds, use the trimmer head. Move the tool in a sweeping motion, keeping the cutting head parallel to the ground. The maximum cutting width is 430 mm.
