3. Configuração

Follow these steps to set up your VTech CS6919-2 phone system.

3.1 Instalação e carregamento da bateria

1. Instale a bateria: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each handset. Connect the battery pack connector securely into the jack inside the compartment. Place the battery pack with the label "THIS SIDE UP" facing up. Close the battery compartment cover.
2. Carregue o aparelho: Place each handset face forward in its respective telephone base or charger. The CHARGE light on the handset will illuminate, indicating proper charging. Allow the handsets to charge for at least 16 hours before initial use. For optimal battery performance, keep the handsets in the charger when not in use.

3.2 Base Unit and Charger Connection

3. Connect the Telephone Base: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the telephone base. Plug the other end into a telephone wall jack.

4. Instruções de operação

• Deregister Handsets: This is sometimes necessary before registering new handsets or if experiencing issues.
  1. On the telephone base, press and hold LOCALIZAR APARELHO for about 10 seconds until the IN USE light on the base flashes.
  2. Pressione imediatamente LOCALIZAR APARELHO again. All handsets registered to the base will be deregistered.
• Register a Handset:
  1. Coloque o fone na base do telefone ou no carregador.
  2. On the telephone base, press and hold LOCALIZAR APARELHO for about 4 seconds until the IN USE light on the base flashes. Release the button.
  3. No aparelho, pressione # (pound key). The handset will display "Registering..." and then "Handset Registered" if successful.
