Configurar
Instalação da bateria
The thermometer comes with a CR2032 battery pre-installed. If the battery needs replacement, follow these steps:
- Localize a tampa do compartimento da bateria na parte traseira do termômetro.

- Remova a bateria antiga e insira uma nova bateria CR2032 com o lado positivo (+) voltado para cima.
- Feche bem a tampa do compartimento da bateria.
Fahrenheit/Celsius Selection
Para alternar entre Fahrenheit (°F) e Celsius (°C):
- With the thermometer turned off, press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds.
- The display will show the current unit (°F or °C) and then switch to the other unit.
- Release the button to confirm your selection. The thermometer is now ready for use in the selected unit.
Operação
Fazendo uma leitura de temperatura
Ensure the thermometer is clean before use. Press the power button to turn on the device. The display will briefly show the last reading, then 'L' with a flashing '°F' or '°C', indicating it is ready for measurement.
- Uso Oral: Place the flexible tip under the tongue, as far back as comfortable. Close lips to hold the thermometer in place.
- Uso axilar (sob a axila): Place the tip in the armpit, ensuring good skin contact. Hold the arm firmly against the body.
- Uso retal: Apply a water-soluble lubricant to the tip. Gently insert the tip into the rectum (approximately 1/2 inch for infants/children, 1 inch for adults).
Hold the thermometer in position until a series of beeps indicates that the peak temperature has been reached (typically within 5 seconds for oral/rectal, longer for axillary).
Understanding Results
- Tela digital: The temperature reading will be shown on the large backlit screen.
- Color Feverline Alert: The display features a color-coded indicator:
- Verde: Temperatura normal
- Yellow: Mild fever
- Red: High fever
- Beep Indicator: A series of beeps signals that the measurement is complete.
Recordação de memória
The thermometer automatically stores the last temperature reading. To view the last reading, press the power button briefly when the device is off. The stored temperature will be displayed for a few seconds before the thermometer enters measurement mode.
Desligamento automático
To conserve battery life, the thermometer will automatically turn off after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity.

Limpeza
The thermometer is waterproof and washable. After each use, clean the thermometer tip with soap and cool water, or wipe with an alcohol swab. Do not immerse the entire thermometer in water for extended periods, and avoid harsh chemical cleaners.
