Configurar
Instalação da bateria
The Physio Logic Digital 10 Thermometer comes with one product-specific battery included and pre-installed. If the battery needs replacement, carefully open the battery compartment located at the end opposite the tip. Insert a new battery, ensuring correct polarity, and securely close the compartment.
Initial Power-On and Unit Selection
- Pressione o botão liga/desliga para ligar o termômetro. Um breve bipe soará e o visor exibirá todos os segmentos brevemente, seguido pela última temperatura medida.
- To switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C), ensure the thermometer is off. Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the unit changes on the display. Release the button to set the desired unit.
- O termômetro agora está pronto para uso.
Instruções de operação
Fazendo uma leitura de temperatura
- Pressione o botão liga/desliga para ligar o termômetro.
- Place the thermometer tip according to the desired measurement method:
- Uso Oral: Place the tip under the tongue, as close to the heat pocket as possible. Keep mouth closed.
- Uso axilar (sob a axila): Insira a ponta na axila, garantindo bom contato com a pele. Mantenha o braço firmemente contra o corpo.
- Uso retal: Aplique um lubrificante solúvel em água na ponta. Insira a ponta delicadamente, não mais do que 1,25 cm (1/2 polegada), no reto.
- Hold the thermometer in place until the peak temperature is reached, indicated by a series of beeps (approximately 10 seconds).
- Leia a temperatura exibida na tela.
- Press the power button to turn off the thermometer, or it will automatically shut off after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
Manutenção
Limpeza e Desinfecção
The thermometer is water resistant and can be easily cleaned. After each use, wipe the tip and shaft with a soft cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol (70% concentration) or soap and water. Do not immerse the entire thermometer in water or any cleaning solution. Allow to air dry before storing.
Armazenar
Store the thermometer in its handy storage case when not in use. Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the thermometer is clean and dry before storing.

When the battery symbol appears on the display, it indicates that the battery is low and needs replacement. Refer to the 'Battery Installation' section under Setup for instructions.
