4. Configuração e instalação
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and effective operation of the hose reel.

Select a sturdy wall or ceiling location capable of supporting the weight of the hose reel and the forces exerted during hose extension and retraction. Ensure the location allows for full hose extension without obstruction and provides easy access to the air supply.
4.2 Mounting the Hose Reel

- Mark the locations for the mounting holes using the integrated brackets as a template.
- Drill appropriate pilot holes for your chosen fasteners (screws, bolts, anchors – not included).
- Securely attach the hose reel to the wall or ceiling using suitable hardware. Ensure all fasteners are tightened to prevent movement.

Connect your compressed air supply line to the inlet fitting on the hose reel. Ensure a tight, leak-free connection. It is recommended to use thread sealant tape for optimal sealing.

Grasp the hose firmly and pull it out to the desired length. The automatic locking mechanism will engage at various intervals, holding the hose in place. You will hear a click as it locks.

The Metabo SA 312 is equipped with a 1/4 inch universal quick connection coupling. To connect an air tool, insert the tool's plug nipple into the coupling until it clicks securely into place.

5.3 Recolher a mangueira
To retract the hose, pull it out slightly further until the locking mechanism disengages. Then, slowly guide the hose back into the reel. Do not release the hose abruptly, as this can cause it to whip and potentially cause injury or damage.

To disconnect an air tool, pull back the collar on the quick connection coupling and remove the tool's plug nipple. Ensure the air supply to the tool is off before disconnecting.
