5. Configuração
5.1 Instalação da bateria
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back or bottom of the laser level.
- Abra a tampa deslizando-a ou destravando-a.
- Insert 4 AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Feche bem a tampa do compartimento da bateria.
5.2 Montagem do Nível a Laser
The FMHT77586-1 offers several mounting options:
- Superfície plana: Place the laser level directly on a stable, flat surface.
- Montagem do tripé: Attach the laser level to a tripod using the 1/4" or 5/8" thread on the bottom of the unit.
- Montagem Magnética: Use the included L-bracket to attach the laser level to metal surfaces. The L-bracket has strong magnets for secure attachment.

6. Instruções de operação
6.1 Powering On and Self-Leveling Mode
- Unlock the pendulum by sliding the lock switch to the unlocked position.
- Press the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) to turn on the laser level.
- The laser level will automatically begin self-leveling. This typically takes about 5 seconds.
- Once leveled, the laser lines will emit a steady green light. If the device is outside its 4° self-leveling range, the laser lines may flash or an indicator light may illuminate, signaling that the device needs to be repositioned.
6.2 Switching Laser Modes
Press the mode button (often marked with a laser symbol or 'M') to cycle through different laser line configurations:
- Horizontal Line Only
- Vertical Line Only
- Cross Line (Horizontal and Vertical)

6.3 Manual Mode (Locked Pendulum)
To project angled lines, keep the pendulum locked. When the pendulum is locked, the self-leveling function is deactivated, and the laser lines can be projected at any angle. The laser lines may flash to indicate that it is in manual mode and not self-leveling.
6.4 Receiver Mode
For outdoor use or in bright conditions, activate receiver mode by pressing the dedicated receiver button (often marked with a signal icon). This increases the pulse rate of the laser, allowing it to be detected by an optional laser receiver for extended range (up to 50m). An indicator light will typically confirm receiver mode is active.

6.5 Desligando
To turn off the laser level, press the power button again. Always engage the pendulum lock before storing or transporting the device to protect the internal mechanism.
7. Manutenção
- Limpeza: Wipe the laser level with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the laser apertures are clean for optimal beam clarity.
- Armazenar: Store the device in its carrying pouch in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight. Always engage the pendulum lock before storage.
- Cuidados com a bateria: Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent corrosion from battery leakage.
- Verificação de calibração: Periodically check the calibration of your laser level. Refer to the full product manual or STANLEY FATMAX support for detailed calibration procedures if needed.
8. Solução De Problemas
| Problema | Possível causa | Solução |
|---|---|---|
| As linhas do laser são fracas ou invisíveis. | Baterias fracas; abertura do laser suja; excesso de luz ambiente. | Replace batteries; clean laser aperture; use in lower light conditions or activate receiver mode with an optional receiver. |
| Linhas de laser estão piscando. | Device is outside its self-leveling range; pendulum is locked (manual mode). | Reposition the device on a more level surface; unlock the pendulum for self-leveling mode. |
| O dispositivo não liga. | Batteries are dead or incorrectly installed; pendulum lock is engaged. | Replace batteries and check polarity; ensure pendulum is unlocked (for self-leveling mode). |
| Medições imprecisas. | Device is not level; calibration issue; unstable surface. | Ensure the device is within its self-leveling range; check calibration; place on a stable surface. |
