4.2 Instalação da Mangueira de Escape

The exhaust hose must be installed to vent hot air outside the room. Failure to do so will prevent the unit from cooling effectively.

1. Connect the hose connector to one end of the flexible exhaust hose.
2. Connect the other end of the hose to the exhaust opening on the back of the air conditioner.
3. Attach the rectangular hose connector to the free end of the exhaust hose.
4. Extend the exhaust hose to a window or wall opening.
5. Use the provided window sealing kit to secure the hose in the window opening and prevent hot air from re-entering the room. Ensure the window is sealed as tightly as possible around the hose.
