Configurar

1. Desembale o termômetro: Carefully remove the thermometer and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Insira a bateria: The thermometer comes with a CR2 battery. Ensure it is correctly inserted according to the polarity markings in the battery compartment.
3. Aclimatação: If the thermometer has been stored in an environment with a significantly different temperature, allow it to rest at room temperature (approximately 15-35°C or 59-95°F) for at least 30 minutes before use. This ensures accurate readings.

Taking a Forehead Temperature Measurement

1. Ligar: Press the power button (usually the main measurement button) to turn on the thermometer. The display will show the last measurement or a standby indicator.
2. Posicionamento: Gently place the sensor of the thermometer on the center of the forehead. Ensure good contact with the skin.
3. Iniciar medição: Press the measurement button. Hold the thermometer steady during the measurement.
4. Resultado da leitura: After approximately 5 seconds, the thermometer will emit a beep, and the temperature reading will be displayed on the large screen.
5. Alerta de Febre: If the measured temperature is 37.5°C (99.5°F) or higher, the thermometer will emit a specific fever alarm sound.
6. Desligar: The thermometer will automatically turn off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life. You can also manually turn it off by pressing and holding the power button.
