1. Introdução
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective operation of the ANENG DT3266L Digital Clamp Multimeter. This device is designed for measuring AC current, AC/DC voltage, resistance, and for live wire identification. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.
2. Informações de segurança
Always observe basic safety precautions when using electrical testing equipment to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury. Improper use can result in electric shock or damage to the meter.
- Não aplicar voltage excedendo a tensão nominal máximatage between the terminals or between any terminal and earth ground.
- Always ensure the test leads are in good condition and properly connected before making measurements.

4. Configuração
4.1 Instalação da bateria
The ANENG DT3266L requires two AAA 1.5V batteries for operation. Ensure correct polarity when installing.
- Insert two AAA 1.5V batteries, observing the polarity markings (+ and -) inside the compartment.

5. Instruções de operação
To operate the multimeter, turn the rotary switch to the desired measurement function. Connect the test leads or use the clamp jaw as appropriate for the measurement type.
5.1 Medição de corrente alternada
Para medir a corrente alternada, use o clamp mandíbula. Certifique-se de que o circuito esteja desenergizado antes de fecharamping, if possible, or exercise extreme caution.
- Turn the rotary switch to the '20A' or '200A' AC current range.
- Abra o clamp mandíbula pressionando o gatilho.
- Enclose only one conductor (e.g., the Live wire) within the clamp mandíbula. Não fecheamp around both Live and Neutral wires simultaneously, as this will result in an inaccurate zero reading.
- Feche a clamp mandíbula firmemente.
- Insert the black test lead into the 'COM' jack and the red test lead into the 'VΩ' jack.
- Turn the rotary switch to the desired ACV (e.g., '600V~') or DCV (e.g., '600V-') range.
- Leia o vol.tage valor no display LCD.
5.3 Medição de Resistência
To measure resistance, ensure the circuit is de-energized before connecting the test leads.
- Insert the black test lead into the 'COM' jack and the red test lead into the 'VΩ' jack.
- Turn the rotary switch to the desired resistance range (e.g., '2KΩ', '200KΩ', '2MΩ').
- Conecte as pontas de prova nos terminais do componente cuja resistência se deseja medir.
- Leia o valor da resistência no visor LCD.

Figura 5.1: Example of resistance measurement on a circuit board.
5.4 Live Wire Identification (L LIVE)
This function helps identify live wires. Refer to the product overview for the specific 'L (LIVE)' setting on the rotary switch.
- Turn the rotary switch to the 'L (LIVE)' position.
- Carefully touch the red test probe to the conductor suspected of being live.
- The meter will indicate if the wire is live, typically through an audible beep or a specific display icon.
5.5 Função HOLD
Press the 'HOLD' button to freeze the current reading on the LCD display. Press it again to release the hold and resume live readings.
5.6 LIGHT Function
Press the 'LIGHT' button to activate the backlight for the LCD display, improving visibility in dimly lit environments. Press it again to turn off the backlight.
6. Measurement Techniques
6.1 Correct AC Current Measurement
For accurate AC current measurement using the clamp function, ensure that only a single conductor (e.g., the Live wire) passes through the clamp jaw. Clamping around multiple conductors carrying current in opposite directions will result in an incorrect reading, often zero.

Figura 6.1: Correct method for AC current measurement: Clamp around a single conductor (Live wire).
6.2 Incorrect AC Current Measurement
Nunca clamp the multimeter around both the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires simultaneously when measuring AC current. The magnetic fields will cancel each other out, leading to an inaccurate or zero reading.

Figura 6.2: Incorrect method for AC current measurement: Do not clamp around both Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires together.
7. Manutenção
7.1 Limpeza
Limpe o medidor casing com anúncioamp Limpe com pano e detergente neutro.
When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries as described in Section 4.1 to ensure continued accurate operation.
7.3 Armazenamento
If the meter is not to be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage to the device. Store the meter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Leituras incorretas: Ensure the correct function is selected on the rotary switch. Verify test lead connections. For current measurements, ensure only a single conductor is within the clamp mandíbula.
- No response: Ensure the meter is turned ON. Check for any visible damage to the meter or test leads.
If problems persist, discontinue use and consult a qualified technician.
