The BRESSER Beaufort 5-in-1 Wireless Weather Station Meteorological Center provides comprehensive weather data directly to your home. It includes an indoor display unit and a multi-sensor outdoor unit that measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall.

2. Configuração

2.1 Desembalagem e verificação dos componentes

Desembale cuidadosamente todos os componentes e verifique se os seguintes itens estão presentes:

• Unidade de exibição principal
• 5-in-1 Outdoor Multi-Sensor Unit
• Mounting accessories (pole, base, screws)
• Power adapter for main unit
• Manual de instruções

2.2 Instalação da bateria

Unidade de exibição principal: Insert 1x CR2032 battery (not included) into the battery compartment for backup power. Connect the main unit to a power outlet using the provided adapter.

Outdoor Multi-Sensor Unit: Insert 3x AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor. Ensure correct polarity.

2.3 Outdoor Sensor Placement and Mounting

Proper placement of the outdoor sensor is crucial for accurate readings.

• Mount the sensor in an open area, away from obstructions like buildings or trees, to ensure accurate wind and rain measurements.
• Ensure the sensor is mounted level to guarantee accurate rainfall collection and wind direction.
• Orient the wind vane (the arrow) to point North during installation.
• Use the provided mounting pole and base to secure the sensor to a stable surface or pole.

2.4 Sincronização Inicial

After installing batteries in both units, place them within close proximity. The main display unit will automatically search for and connect to the outdoor sensor. This process may take a few minutes. Once connected, outdoor data will appear on the display.

2.5 Configuração de Hora e Data

The weather station may attempt to synchronize time via RCC (Radio Controlled Clock) signal. If an RCC signal is not available in your region, or if you prefer, you can manually set the time and date using the buttons on the main display unit. Refer to the specific button functions in the Operating section for detailed instructions.

The main display unit presents various weather parameters:

• FORA: Temperatura e umidade externas.
• EM: Temperatura e umidade internas.
• VENTO: Current wind speed and direction, including gust speed.
• PREVISÃO: Weather forecast icons (sunny, cloudy, rainy, etc.).
• BARO: Leituras da pressão barométrica.
• RAINFALL: Daily, weekly, or monthly rainfall accumulation.
• HORA / DATA: Hora, data e dia da semana atuais.
• BEAUFORT: Beaufort scale indicator for wind force.
• FRIO DO VENTO: Calculated wind chill temperature.

3.2 Funções dos botões

The display unit features several buttons for navigation and settings:

• HISTÓRIA: View historical data for various parameters.
• MAX / MIN: Display maximum and minimum recorded values for temperature, humidity, etc. Press again to clear.
• LUZ: Adjust backlight brightness or activate temporary backlight.
• MODO / AJUSTE: Enter settings mode or confirm selections.
• Setas PARA CIMA/PARA BAIXO: Navegue pelos menus ou ajuste os valores.

3.3 Configurar alarmes

You can set alarms for specific weather conditions, such as high/low temperature, high wind speed, or heavy rainfall. Enter the alarm setting mode using the MODE/SET button and follow the on-screen prompts to configure your desired alarm thresholds.

3.4 Seleção de Unidade

To change units (e.g., Celsius to Fahrenheit, mph to km/h, inHg to hPa), access the settings menu. Navigate to the unit selection option and choose your preferred measurement units.

4. Manutenção

4.1 Substituição da bateria

Replace batteries in the outdoor sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the main display. Due to the outdoor placement, ensure safe access for battery replacement. The main unit's backup battery should be replaced periodically, typically every 1-2 years.

4.2 Limpeza

Periodically clean the outdoor sensor unit to ensure accurate readings. Remove any debris from the rain collector, wind cups, and wind vane. Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Clean the display unit with a soft, dry cloth.

4.3 Cuidados Gerais

Ensure the outdoor sensor is securely mounted and free from physical damage. Protect the main display unit from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and moisture.

5. Solução De Problemas

• Sem visor na unidade principal: Check power adapter connection and backup battery.
• Sem dados externos: Ensure outdoor sensor batteries are fresh and correctly installed. Verify both units are within range and attempt re-synchronization (refer to setup instructions). Check for obstructions between units.
• Leituras imprecisas: Ensure the outdoor sensor is mounted correctly (level, clear of obstructions, wind vane pointing North). Clean sensors if necessary.
• Data/hora incorreta: If RCC synchronization fails, manually set the time and date.
