4. Configuração e montagem

Siga estes passos para montar seu cortador de grama antes do primeiro uso:

1. Montagem do guidão: Attach the lower and upper handlebar sections to the main unit using the provided bolts and knobs. Ensure all connections are secure.
2. Grass Catcher Assembly: Assemble the grass catcher according to the instructions in the separate grass catcher manual (if applicable) and attach it to the rear of the mower.
3. Adicione óleo do motor: Before starting, ensure the engine oil is at the correct level. Use the provided engine oil and fill it into the engine's oil reservoir. Refer to the engine manual for exact capacity and oil type.

5.1 Ligando o motor

5.2 Ajuste da altura de corte

The Scheppach MS150-42 offers 7 cutting height adjustments, ranging from 25mm to 75mm. Use the centralized height adjustment lever located near the wheels to select your desired cutting height.

5.3 Self-Propelled Function

This lawn mower is equipped with a self-propelled drive, which significantly reduces effort, especially on uneven terrain or slight inclines. Engage the drive lever on the handlebar to activate the self-propulsion.

6. Manutenção

A manutenção regular garante a longevidade e o bom desempenho do seu cortador de grama.

6.1 Limpeza

After each use, clean the underside of the mower deck to prevent grass buildup. The MS150-42 features a quick cleaning connection:

1. Connect a garden hose to the quick cleaning nozzle on the mower deck.
2. Start the engine and engage the blade (if safe to do so, follow specific instructions in the full manual).
3. The rotating blade will help distribute water and clean the deck.
4. Turn off the engine and disconnect the hose.

6.2 Cuidados com a Lâmina

Inspect the blade regularly for sharpness and damage. A dull or unbalanced blade can lead to poor cutting performance and excessive vibration. Replace the blade if it is bent, cracked, or excessively worn. Always use genuine Scheppach replacement blades.

6.3 Óleo do motor

Check the engine oil level before each use. Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of operation, and then every 25 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Refer to the engine manual for the correct oil type and procedure.

Regularly inspect and clean the air filter. A dirty air filter can reduce engine performance. Check the spark plug annually and replace it if necessary.
