4. Configuração e instalação

4.2. Instalação do processador

1. Prepare a placa-mãe: Open the CPU socket retention lever on your motherboard. Lift the load plate.

4.3. Thermal Solution (CPU Cooler) Installation

The Intel® Laminar RM1 thermal solution is designed for easy installation.

1. Prepare the Cooler: The included cooler typically has pre-applied thermal paste on its base. If not, apply a thin, even layer of high-quality thermal paste to the center of the processor's IHS.
2. Posicione o refrigerador: Align the four mounting pins on the cooler with the corresponding holes around the CPU socket on the motherboard.
3. Prenda bem o cooler: Press down firmly on each corner of the cooler until all four pins click into place. Ensure the cooler is securely attached and does not wobble.
