Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper function and safety. This smart lock offers multiple convenient ways to access your property, enhancing security and ease of use.

4. Guia de instalação
The Hornbill Smart Lock is designed for easy DIY installation. Ensure your door meets the following specifications:
- Fits most US standard Left and Right Hand Wooden Doors.
- Door thickness: 1.49-1.88 inches.
- Door hole diameter: 2-1/8 inches (54 mm).
4.1. Prepare a porta
Use the provided size template to mark and drill any necessary holes. Ensure the existing latch is compatible or adjust it as needed.

4.2. Adjust Handle Direction (if needed)
The handle direction can be reversed to suit left or right-handed doors. Unscrew the handle, rotate it, and re-secure it.
4.3. Instale a trava
Insert the latch into the door edge and secure it with screws. Ensure the concave direction of the lock bolt faces outwards.
4.4. Install the Front Lock Panel
Route the IC wire under the deadbolt. Insert the front panel, ensuring the posts align with the holes. Do not insert the physical key at this stage.
4.5. Instale a placa de montagem
Route the IC wire through the hole in the metal mounting plate. Secure the mounting plate to the door using the provided screws.
4.6. Install the Back Lock Panel
Connect the IC wire from the front panel to the back panel. Carefully tuck the wire into the door. Align the back panel with the posts and secure it with screws. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) and close the battery cover.

5. Instruções de operação
5.1. Métodos de desbloqueio
- Impressão digital: Place your registered finger on the sensor. The lock will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.
- Senha: Enter your 6-8 digit passcode on the keypad, followed by '#'.
- Cartão IC: Tap the registered IC card against the keypad area.
- Aplicativo para smartphones: Use the dedicated app to remotely unlock the door via Bluetooth or WiFi (with G2 Gateway).
- Chave física: In case of emergency or battery depletion, use the physical key to unlock the door.

5.2. Controle de Aplicativos e Gerenciamento de Usuários
Download the 'Next Lock' or 'TTLock' app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your lock. The app allows you to:
- Add and remove fingerprints.
- Generate one-time, permanent, or custom passcodes for guests.
- Manage IC cards and authorized administrators.
- View real-time access logs.
- Control multiple locks from a single interface.

5.3. Função de travamento automático
The lock can be configured to automatically lock after a set period (1-900 seconds) once it has been unlocked. This feature provides peace of mind, ensuring your door is always secured.
5.4. Voice Control (with G2 Gateway)
If you have purchased the G2 Gateway (sold separately), you can integrate your smart lock with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for voice control. Follow the gateway's instructions to set up this feature.
6. Manutenção
6.1. Substituição da bateria
The smart lock requires 4 AA batteries. When the battery level is low, the lock will provide a low battery alarm. Replace all four batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. To replace, remove the back panel cover, replace the batteries, and re-secure the cover.

6.2. Emergency Charging
In case of complete battery depletion, the lock features an emergency charging port (Micro-USB) located at the bottom of the exterior handle. Connect a power bank to temporarily power the lock and gain access.
6.3. Limpeza
Clean the smart lock's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
7. Solução De Problemas
- A fechadura não responde: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Use the emergency charging port if completely depleted.
- Impressão digital não reconhecida: Certifique-se de que seu dedo esteja limpo e seco. Se os problemas persistirem, registre novamente sua impressão digital.
- Teclado não responde: Ensure the keypad is clean. If multiple incorrect attempts are made, the keypad may temporarily disable for security.
- Problemas de conectividade do aplicativo: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and you are within range. If using WiFi, check G2 Gateway connection and internet access.
- Latch not retracting: Check for any obstructions in the door frame or latch mechanism. Ensure the handle is correctly installed and not loose.
