Configurar
- Desembalagem: Carefully remove the lantern from its packaging. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.
- Carga inicial: Before first use, place the lantern in direct sunlight for at least 8-10 hours to allow the solar panel to fully charge the internal battery.
- Colocação: Position the lantern in an outdoor area where it will receive maximum direct sunlight during the day and where flying insects are prevalent in the evening. For optimal bug zapping, place it away from areas where people gather, as the light attracts insects.
- Ativação: Locate the power button on the front of the lantern. Press the button to activate the unit. The lantern will automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn.

Instruções de operação
The PIC Solar Flame Effect Patio Lantern offers two distinct lighting modes:
- Flame Effect Mode: This mode provides a realistic, flickering flame appearance, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. It operates simultaneously with the bug zapper function.
- White Lantern Mode: Press the power button a second time to switch to a bright, steady white light. This mode is ideal for general illumination and also operates with the bug zapper.

The bug zapper utilizes blue UV LED technology to attract mosquitoes and other flying insects, which are then electrocuted by a high 600-volt electric zapping grid. The unit is designed to operate for 6+ hours on a full charge during the night.

Manutenção
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your bug zapper lantern.
- Cleaning the Zapping Grid: Periodically inspect the zapping grid for accumulated insect debris. To clean, ensure the unit is turned off. Use a small, non-metallic brush or a soft cloth to gently remove any dead insects. Do not use water or cleaning solutions directly on the grid.
- Limpeza do painel solar: Keep the solar panel clean from dust, dirt, and debris to ensure efficient charging. Wipe it gently with a soft, damp pano conforme necessário.
- Resistência às intempéries: The lantern is designed to be weatherproof and can withstand wind and rain. However, for prolonged periods of extreme weather, it is recommended to bring the unit indoors to extend its lifespan.
