Choose a location for your Clean Base that is near a power outlet and on a hard, level surface. Ensure there is clear space around the base for the robot to dock and maneuver.

Place the Roomba Combo j5+ onto the Clean Base. The robot will automatically begin charging. Allow it to fully charge before its first cleaning mission (approximately 3 hours).

4. Initial Mapping Run

Once charged, use the iRobot Home app to initiate an initial mapping run. The robot will explore your home to create a Smart Map, which allows for efficient and customized cleaning. Ensure all doors are open and clear any large obstacles.
