1. Introdução

Thank you for choosing the hOmeLabs Countertop Ice Maker. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new ice maker. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference.

2. Instruções importantes de segurança

• Do not touch the evaporator or ice basket when the unit is operating.

• Do not place the ice maker on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Ensure proper ventilation: Allow at least 4 inches of clear space around the unit for adequate airflow.
• Use only potable (drinkable) water. Filtered water is recommended to prolong the life of the unit and improve ice quality.
• After transporting the unit, allow it to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

3. Introdução

Desembalagem e colocação:

1. Remove all packaging materials and check that all accessories are included.
2. Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and other heat sources. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of space around the unit for proper ventilation.

Limpeza Inicial:

1. Clean the interior of the unit with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water.
2. Rinse the interior with clean water and drain by removing the drain plug located at the bottom.

Fazendo gelo:

1. Open the lid and pour potable water into the water reservoir up to the MAX water level mark.
2. Conecte o cabo de alimentação a uma tomada elétrica aterrada.
3. Pressione o LIGAR/DESLIGAR/LIMPAR botão para ligar a máquina de gelo.
4. Pressione o SELECIONAR Botão para escolher o tamanho de cubo de gelo desejado: S (Pequeno) ou L (Grande). A luz indicadora correspondente acenderá.
5. The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice may take 6-12 minutes. Subsequent batches will be faster.
6. Quando a cesta de gelo estiver cheia, o GELO COMPLETO indicator will light up, and the ice maker will stop producing ice. Remove ice from the basket to resume operation.
7. When the water level is low, the ADICIONE ÁGUA indicator will light up. Add more water to the reservoir to continue ice production.

Armazenando gelo:

The ice maker is not a freezer and will not keep ice frozen indefinitely. For longer storage, transfer the ice cubes to the provided ice bags and store them in your freezer.

5. Cuidados e Manutenção

The ice maker features an automatic self-cleaning mode:

1. Certifique-se de que há água no reservatório.
2. Pressione e segure o LIGAR/DESLIGAR/LIMPAR button for 3 seconds to activate the self-cleaning cycle.
3. The cycle will run for approximately 20 minutes.
4. Once complete, drain the water from the unit.

Limpeza regular:

For optimal performance and hygiene, clean your ice maker regularly:

• Interior: Periodically clean the water reservoir, ice basket, and evaporator with a diluted solution of water and vinegar or a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Exterior: Limpe o exterior com um pano macio e seco.amp pano. Não use produtos químicos agressivos ou produtos de limpeza abrasivos.
• Drenando: Always drain any remaining water from the reservoir when the unit is not in use for an extended period. The drain plug is located at the bottom of the unit.
