3. Configuração

1. Desembalagem: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present: coffee maker unit, detachable water tank, reusable ground coffee filter, and instruction manual.
2. Limpeza Inicial: Before first use, wash the detachable water tank, reusable filter, and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Instalação do tanque de água: Place the detachable 40 oz water tank onto the back of the coffee maker. Ensure it is securely seated.
4. Encha o tanque de água: Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water up to the 'MAX' line (40 oz). Do not exceed the 'MAX' line. The minimum fill level is 15 oz.
5. Conexão de energia: Plug the coffee maker into a grounded electrical outlet. The power button will illuminate.
6. Ciclo de enxágue inicial: To clean the internal components, perform a rinse cycle without coffee. Fill the water tank, place an empty mug on the drip tray, select the 14 oz brew size, and press 'BREW'. Discard the hot water. Repeat this process 2-3 times.

4.1. Brewing with K-Cups

5. Selecione o tamanho da infusão: On the touchscreen, press the 'SIZE' button repeatedly to cycle through the available brew sizes (6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz, 12 oz, 14 oz) until your desired size is illuminated.
6. Comece a preparar: Press the 'BREW' button. The coffee maker will begin heating and then dispense coffee into your mug.
7. Aproveitar: Once brewing is complete, carefully remove your mug and enjoy your coffee.

5. Manutenção e Limpeza

5.1. Limpeza Diária

• Tanque de água: The detachable 40 oz water tank can be easily removed and washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
• Filtro Reutilizável: After each use with ground coffee, remove and empty the reusable filter. Wash it with warm, soapy water and rinse.
• Bandeja de gotejamento: The removable drip tray collects spills and can be easily detached for cleaning. Wash with warm, soapy water and rinse.
• Exterior: Limpe o exterior da cafeteira com adamp pano. Não mergulhe a unidade em água.

5.2. Descaling (Deep Cleaning)

Over time, mineral deposits (scale) can build up inside your coffee maker, affecting performance and taste. The descaling indicator light will illuminate when it's time for a thorough cleaning.

1. Preparar a solução: Fill the water tank with a mixture of white vinegar and water (e.g., 1:1 ratio) or a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions.
2. Start Self-Cleaning: Place a large empty mug or container on the drip tray. Press and hold the 'SIZE' and 'BREW' buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. The coffee machine will automatically enter cleaning mode and run the descaling cycle.
