5. Configuração
5.1 Instalação da bateria
- Certifique-se de que o rádio esteja desligado.
- Alinhe o compartimento das pilhas com os sulcos na parte traseira do rádio.
- Deslize a bateria para cima até ouvir um clique e ela se encaixar no lugar.

5.2 Carregando a bateria

- Connect the AC power adapter to the charger cradle.
- Conecte o adaptador de alimentação CA em uma tomada de parede padrão.
- Place the radio (with battery installed) into the charger cradle. Ensure the charging contacts align.
- The charging indicator light on the cradle will illuminate (typically red for charging, green for fully charged).
- Uma carga completa normalmente leva de 3 a 4 horas. Não sobrecarregue a bateria.
5.3 Conectando a Antena
Enrosque a antena no conector na parte superior do rádio, girando-a no sentido horário, até que esteja firme o suficiente para apertar com os dedos. Não aperte demais.
5.4 Attaching the Belt Clip and Hand Strap
Attach the belt clip to the designated screws on the back of the radio. The hand strap can be looped through the eyelet on the side or top of the radio for secure carrying.
6. Instruções de operação
6.1 Ligar/Desligar e Controle de Volume
Rotate the power/volume knob (typically the left knob on top) clockwise to turn the radio on. Continue rotating clockwise to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and turn the radio off.
6.2 Seleção de Canal
Rotate the channel selector knob (typically the right knob on top) to select the desired communication channel. The selected channel number will be displayed on the screen. The LP-66 supports up to 400 channels.
6.3 Transmissão e Recepção
- Recebendo: When the radio is on and tuned to an active channel, it will automatically receive incoming transmissions. The speaker will output the audio.
- Transmitindo: To transmit, press and hold the Push-To-Talk (PTT) button, usually located on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone, holding the radio approximately 2-5 cm from your mouth. Release the PTT button to stop transmitting and return to receive mode.
6.4 Keypad Functions (if applicable)
The LP-66 features a basic keypad for additional functions. Refer to the on-screen prompts or specific programming instructions for advanced features such as frequency input, scanning, or squelch level adjustment.
